I am a firm believer in the benefits of an educated citizenry and the importance of lifelong learning. Our incredible district library system continues to
promote both.
I have 30 years administrative and policy development experience.
My goal is to make certain the libraries in the community will always be able to provide the necessary resources for early and lifelong learners.
Parts of our communities and, indeed, our nation, struggle these days with some differing viewpoints on public library materials. It is crucial to bring calm and careful consideration to these conversations. I will defend the right to free speech with fervor while promoting a reasoned approach.
